features administered from a single intuitive "properties"
interface.
Provides
a single point of administration for all FacetWin servers on the network.
FacetWin
may still be administered by editing the text configuration files if
desired. The graphical administrator preserves all comments in the configuration
files.
Context
sensitive help for every configuration setting allows the system administrator
to quickly understand the rich set of options that are available.
Non-"root"
users may run the administrator in read only mode in order to view the
FacetWin settings without being able to make any changes to the configuration.
Configuration
files are backed-up prior to committing changes so that the system administrator
can easily determine what changes have been made to the configuration
and when they were made.
