Note that FacetPhone can support telecommuters with broadband Internet service directly from the main system via a VPN. Also please note the following issues regarding telecommuter support over the Internet:

If the telecommuter's Internet connectivity to the main office is lost, the telecommuter does not have access to the FacetPhone system. Therefore, telecommuters should have their own local phone service that is not connected to the FacetPhone system for personal and emergency use.

For best call quality, you will want to use a VPN with Quality of Service (QoS) between the tele-worker and the main office location.

Telecommuters with satellite Internet service or dial-up service are not supported.
